Ingredients

  • 1-1/4 pounds Chicken breast halves (skinless and boneless)
  • 1 Egg (Beaten)
  • 1 Alfredo sauce (10 ounces jar)
  • 1/4 teaspoon Garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon Paprika
  • 1 tomato (Finely chopped)
  • 1/2 cup Mozzarella cheese (finely shredded)
  • Pasta (Cooked)
  • Parmesan cheese (grated)
  • 3/4 cup Dry and Italian seasoned bread crumbs
  • 3/4 + 1/2 cup + teaspoon Plain crumb + Italian seasoning

Instructions

  • Begin by preheating your oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine garlic powder with bread crumbs and beaten eggs. Dip the chicken breast halves into this mixture, ensuring they are evenly coated.
  • Take a 13x9-inch baking dish and arrange the coated chicken in it. Bake for approximately 20-22 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through.
  • Once the chicken is done, pour one cup of Alfredo sauce over the cooked chicken.
  • Layer the chicken with cheese, followed by evenly distributing the chopped tomato.
  • Return the dish to the oven and bake for an additional 10-12 minutes, or until the chicken's edges turn golden brown, indicating thorough cooking. You can also check for doneness by cutting a piece of chicken with a knife and tasting it to ensure it's fully cooked.

Notes

  • Ensure the fettuccine pasta is cooked to al dente for the ideal texture.
  • If you can't find MontAmoré cheese, Parmesan or Romano cheese can be excellent substitutes.
  • A sprinkle of fresh parsley adds a touch of colour and a burst of freshness to your dish.
