Ingredients
  

  • 1 pound Ziti pasta
  • 1 pound  Beef (ground)
  • 1 Onion (chopped)

  • 1 can Tomatoes (crushed) (28 ounces) 
  • 1 can Tomato sauce (15 ounces)
  • 1 teaspoon Basil (Dried)
  • 1 teaspoon Oregano (dried)
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 2 cups  Mozzarella cheese (shredded)
  • 1/2 cup  Parmesan cheese (grated)

Instructions
 

  • Place a large pot of salted water on a stove and bring to a rolling boil.
  • Cook the ziti pasta according to the package instructions until al dente. Drain the pasta and set it aside.
  • Cook the ground beef over medium heat In a skillet until it achieves a delightful brown colour.
  • Add the onion (chopped) and garlic (minced) to the skillet, cooking until the onion turns translucent and the beef is thoroughly cooked. Remove any excess grease from the skillet.
  • Combine the tomatoes (crushed), tomato sauce, dried basil, dried oregano, salt, and black pepper with the cooked ground beef in the skillet. Stir diligently to achieve a harmonious fusion of flavours.
  • Allow the sauce to simmer for about 10 minutes, allowing the flavours to meld together and create a tantalizing taste profile.
  • In a generously sized mixing bowl, combine the cooked ziti pasta with the sauce, making sure each noodle is evenly coated.
