- 1 pound Ground beef
- 1 pound Ground pork
- 2 cups Bread crumbs
- 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese (freshly grated)
- 1/2 cup Fresh parsley (finely chopped)
- 4 cloves Garlic (minced)
- 2 eggs (lightly beaten)
- 1/2 cup Whole milk
- 2 teaspoons Salt
- 1/2 teaspoon Black pepper
- 1/4 cup Olive oil
- 1/4 cup Butter
- 2 cups Tomato sauce
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
Combine beef, pork, bread crumbs, Parmesan, parsley, garlic, eggs, milk, salt, and pepper in a large mixing bowl.
Shape mixture into 2-inch diameter meatballs.
Heat olive oil and butter in a skillet over medium heat.
Brown meatballs in the skillet for 10-12 minutes.
Transfer the meatballs to a baking dish and pour tomato sauce over.
Cover with foil and bake for 30-35 minutes.
Remove foil and continue baking for 10-15 minutes until cooked through.
