Ingredients
  

  • 1 pound  Ground beef
  • 1 pound  Ground pork
  • 2 cups  Bread crumbs
  • 1/2 cup  Parmesan cheese (freshly grated)
  • 1/2 cup  Fresh parsley (finely chopped)
  • 4 cloves  Garlic (minced)
  • eggs (lightly beaten)
  • 1/2 cup  Whole milk
  • 2 teaspoons  Salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon  Black pepper
  • 1/4 cup  Olive oil
  • 1/4 cup  Butter
  • 2 cups  Tomato sauce

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
  • Combine beef, pork, bread crumbs, Parmesan, parsley, garlic, eggs, milk, salt, and pepper in a large mixing bowl.
  • Shape mixture into 2-inch diameter meatballs.
  • Heat olive oil and butter in a skillet over medium heat.
  • Brown meatballs in the skillet for 10-12 minutes.
  • Transfer the meatballs to a baking dish and pour tomato sauce over.
  • Cover with foil and bake for 30-35 minutes.
  • Remove foil and continue baking for 10-15 minutes until cooked through.
  • Serve hot, garnished with additional Parmesan and parsley if desired.
