In this blog, I will share with you a Camptown Shrimp Recipe that is extremely delicious. Camptown Shrimp is all about enjoying the ocean's goodness.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 pound Large shrimp (peeled and deveined)
  • 2 tablespoons Olive oil
  • 3 Cloves Garlic (minced)
  • Small onion (finely chopped)
  • Bell pepper (diced)
  • 1 cup Cherry tomatoes (halved)
  • 1/2 cup Chicken broth
  • 1/4 cup White wine (optional)
  • 1 teaspoon Smoked paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon Cayenne pepper (adjust to your spice preference)
  • Salt and pepper (to taste)
  • Fresh parsley garnish (chopped) 

Instructions
 

  • Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  • Add garlic, onion, and bell pepper; sauté for 3-4 minutes until softened.
  • Cook shrimp for 2-3 minutes per side until pink; set aside.
  • In the same skillet, add cherry tomatoes; cook for 2 minutes.
  • Optionally, add white wine; simmer for a minute to reduce.
  • Combine chicken broth, smoked paprika, cayenne, salt, and pepper; simmer for 5 minutes.
  • Return shrimp to the skillet, and heat through in the sauce.
  • Serve Camptown shrimp over rice, pasta, or with crusty bread.
  • Garnish with fresh parsley for colour and flavour.
  • Enjoy your homemade Camptown shrimp; adjust to taste.

Notes

  • Marinate the Camptown Shrimp for at least 30 minutes.
  • Grill them for a few minutes on each side for a nice char.
  • Add fresh herbs for extra flavour.
