Ingredients
  

  • 1 pound  Chicken breast
  • 2 teaspoons  Salt 
  • 1 teaspoon  Pepper
  • ½ cup  Flour
  • 2 tablespoons  Vegetable oil
  • ½ cup  Milk
  • ¼ cup  Water
  • 3 tablespoons  Butter (melted) + 2 tablespoons butter (melted) for topping biscuits

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) for baking.
  • In a large skillet, heat vegetable oil over medium-high heat.
  • Place chicken cubes in the skillet, and cook for 3 minutes per side until golden brown.
  • Sprinkle chicken with salt and pepper for seasoning.
  • Add flour to the skillet, stir and cook for about 1 minute.
  • Slowly pour in milk and water while stirring constantly.
  • Simmer for 5 minutes until the sauce thickens.
  • Stir in 3 tablespoons of melted butter.
  • Transfer chicken and sauce to a 9-inch baking dish.
  • In a medium bowl, mix biscuit ingredients until soft dough forms.
  • On a floured surface, roll the dough to ½ inch thickness.
  • Cut dough into 8 biscuits.
  • Place biscuits on top of the chicken in the baking dish.
  • Brush biscuits with 2 tablespoons of melted butter.
  • Bake for 25 minutes until golden brown.
  • Serve warm with preferred sides.

Notes

  • Marinate the chicken for extra tenderness.
  • Don't overbake the biscuits to keep them fluffy.
  • Make sure the cheesecake sauce is smooth.
