- 1 cup Elbow macaroni
- 1 cup Cheddar cheese (shredded)
- 1 cup Sour cream
- 1/2 cup Flour
- 1 1/2 cups Milk
- 3 tablespoons Butter (melted)
- 2 teaspoons Salt
- 2 teaspoons Pepper
- 1 Dash paprika (optional)
Preheat the oven to 400°F.
Cook pasta per package instructions, drain, and set aside.
Melt butter in a large pot over medium heat until slightly bubbling.
Add flour, cook for 1 minute.
Slowly whisk in milk, stirring until smooth.
Add cheese, salt, pepper, and mustard; whisk until smooth.
Combine cooked pasta, and blend well.
Transfer to a casserole dish, optionally top with breadcrumbs.
Bake in a preheated oven until golden and bubbling.
