Ingredients
  

For Meatballs:

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1/2 lb ground pork
  • 1/2 lb ground veal
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese
  • 3 garlic cloves chopped
  • 1/4 cup parsley chopped
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp pepper
  • 2 tbsp olive oil

For Sauce:

  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • 1/4 cup fresh basil

Instructions
 

  • Mix breadcrumbs with milk for five minutes.
  • Put all meats in big bowl.
  • Add breadcrumbs, egg, and cheese.
  • Mix in garlic, parsley, salt, pepper.
  • Mix gently without pressing too hard.
  • Roll into twenty-four small balls.
  • Heat oil in pan.
  • Cook meatballs until brown all over.
  • Add marinara sauce to pan.
  • Cook for twenty minutes covered.
  • Check meatballs are cooked through.
  • Add fresh basil before serving.
