- 1 lb Crab meat (fresh or canned)
- 2 tablespoons Olive oil
- 1 Small onion (chopped)
- 3 cloves Garlic (minced)
- 1/2 teaspoon Red pepper flakes (optional)
- 1 cup Canned tomatoes (crushed)
- 1/2 cup Dry white wine
- 1/2 cup Heavy cream
- Salt and pepper (to taste)
- Fresh parsley (Chopped) or basil for garnish
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
Sauté chopped onion and garlic for 3-4 minutes.
Add red pepper flakes if desired.
Stir in canned crushed tomatoes and cook for 5 minutes.
Pour white wine and simmer for 5-7 minutes to reduce.
Incorporate crab meat and cook for 2-3 minutes.
Add heavy cream and simmer for 3-4 minutes to thicken.
Season the sauce with salt and pepper.
Serve crab shala over pasta or rice.
Garnish with chopped fresh parsley or basil.
