Ingredients
  

For Steak:

  • 4 cube steaks
  • 2 cups buttermilk
  • 2 cups flour
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Oil for frying

For Gravy:

  • 3 tablespoons pan oil
  • 3 tablespoons flour
  • 2 cups milk
  • Salt and pepper

Instructions
 

  • Soak steaks in buttermilk for 30 minutes.
  • Mix flour with salt and pepper.
  • Heat oil to 350 degrees.
  • Coat each steak in flour mix.
  • Dip back into buttermilk.
  • Coat with flour mix again.
  • Fry steaks 3-4 minutes each side.
  • Put on wire rack to drain.
  • Keep warm in oven.
  • Save 3 tablespoons of pan oil.
  • Add flour to oil and mix.
  • Cook flour mix for 2 minutes.
  • Add milk slowly while mixing.
  • Add salt and pepper to gravy.
  • Serve steaks with hot gravy.
