- 4 large onions cut thin
- 1 cup flour
- 1/2 cup cornmeal
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp pepper
- 1/4 tsp paprika
- 1 egg beaten
- 3/4 cup cold water
- Oil for cooking
Cut onions into thin rings.
Mix flour, cornmeal, baking powder.
Add salt, pepper, and paprika.
Beat egg with cold water.
Pour wet mix into dry mix.
Stir until smooth.
