Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups fresh strawberries hulled and chopped

Instructions
 

  • Wash and hull strawberries carefully.
  • Chop strawberries into small, even pieces.
  • Combine strawberries and sugar in saucepan.
  • Cook over medium heat for 10 minutes.
  • Stir mixture frequently to prevent burning.
  • Add chopped dark chocolate pieces gradually.
  • Stir until chocolate melts completely smooth.
  • Add lemon juice and vanilla extract.
  • Cook additional 5-8 minutes until thickened.
  • Test consistency on cold plate surface.
  • Pour hot jam into sterilized jars.
