Ingredients
  

  • 1/2 cup  All-purpose flour
  • 2 large  Eggs
  • 1/2 cup Butter (unsalted) (1 stick)
  • 1/2 cup  Cocoa powder (unsweetened)
  • 1 cup Sugar (granulated)
  • 1/2 cup  Chocolate chips (semisweet)
  • Vanilla ice cream (optional)
  • 1 tsp Vanilla extract
  • 1/2 tsp Salt

Instructions
 

  • The oven should be preheated to 350°F (180°C).
  • Melt butter in a medium skillet. Add cocoa powder, sugar, and salt, and stir until smooth.
  • Remove the skillet, and let the mixture cool. Add eggs one by one, whisking well after each. Stir in vanilla extract.
  • Add flour and chocolate chips, stir until batter is smooth and ingredients mix evenly.
  • Bake in a preheated oven for 20-25 minutes until the top sets and toothpick comes out with a few moist crumbs.
  • Let the brownie skillet cool briefly. Serve warm with vanilla ice cream, if desired.
