Yorkshire Pudding Tin
Large mixing bowl
Hand Whisk
Measuring Jug
Oven mitts
- 1 Cup All-purpose Flour
- 4 Large Eggs
- 1 Cup Whole Milk
- 1/2 Tsp Sea Salt
- 1/4 Cup Vegetable Oil
Turn your oven to 425°F. Put one teaspoon of oil in each tin hole. Place the tin inside the hot oven now.
Grab your large mixing bowl and the flour. Add the salt to the flour and stir well. Make a small well in the center of flour.
Break your eggs into the center of the bowl. Use your whisk to combine eggs and flour slowly. The mixture will look like a thick paste.
Pour the milk in a slow, steady stream. Keep whisking until the batter is very smooth. Let the batter rest for thirty minutes at least.
Take the hot tin out of the oven carefully. Pour the batter into each hole very quickly. It should sizzle when it hits the hot oil.
Slide the tin back into the oven immediately. Bake for twenty to twenty-five minutes until golden. Do not open the oven door during this time.
- The oil must be smoking hot before adding batter.
- Rest your batter to get a much better rise.
- Do not open the oven door while they bake.
- Use equal volumes of eggs, flour, and milk.
