- 1 kg Powdered Sugar
- 2 tablespoon Meringue powder
- 2 teaspoon Vanilla
- 1/4 cup Clear corn syrup
- 1 cup Water
In a mixing bowl, combine 500g powdered sugar and meringue powder.
Attach the paddle and add 5-6 tablespoons of water. Mix on low speed until fluffy.
Transfer to another bowl and cover with a damp towel. Set aside.
In a different bowl, mix 500g powdered sugar, corn syrup, vanilla, and water.
Use the paddle attachment, and mix on low until combined.
Increase speed, mix for 3 minutes until molasses-like consistency.
Add the reserved royal icing to the glaze, and combine well.
Frankenfrosting is now ready for use.
- Make sure your butter is soft to achieve a fluffy and smooth texture.
- Add powdered sugar slowly and mix well to avoid lumps.
- Don't forget vanilla extract for that delicious and authentic flavour.
