For The Sauce:
- 1 lb Ground Pork
- 1 lb Ground Beef
- 1 lb Ground Veal
- 1 Medium White Onion (Chopped)
- 3 Cloves Garlic (Chopped)
- 1 Stack Celery (Chopped)
- 1 Carrot (Chopped)
- 1 Can Hunt's Crushed Tomatoes (28 oz)
- ¾ cup Tomato Paste
- 1 cup Goya Red Wine
- 1 cup Pacific Foods Beef Broth
- ½ teaspoon Black Pepper
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- ¼ teaspoon Ground Cloves
- ¼ teaspoon Ground Nutmeg
- ½ cup Land O Lakes Heavy Whipping Cream
For The Spaghetti:
- 1 ½ lb Spaghetti (Uncooked )
- 6 Quarts Water
- 3 tablespoon Salt
- 1 tablespoon Olive Oil
Bolognese Sauce Instructions:
Brown pork, beef, and veal in a large pot over medium heat.
Cook onion, garlic, celery, and carrots until the veggies are tender.
Combine tomatoes, paste, wine, broth, and spices in a pot.
Simmer for about 2 hours, stirring occasionally, until the sauce thickens.
Add cream, and cook for 5 mins.
Bolognese sauce is ready to serve!
Spaghetti Instructions:
Boil 6 quarts of water in a big pot.
Add salt, then uncooked spaghetti.
Stir until the water boils again.
Cook for 1 min less than instructions.
Strain, cool, and toss with oil.
Transfer to a plate.
Serve Bolognese over spaghetti.
- Cut veggies small for a good mix.
- Mix beef and pork for a better taste.
- Cook slowly for the best flavours.
