Ingredients
  

  • 4 pork chops thick ones
  • 1/3 cup honey
  • 4 garlic cloves chopped small
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon cooking oil
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • Salt and pepper

Instructions
 

  • Put salt and pepper on pork chops. Let them sit for 15 minutes. Heat oil in large pan.
  • Cook pork chops 3 minutes each side. Take chops out of pan. Turn heat down low.
  • Add butter to same pan. Cook garlic for 30 seconds. Mix honey and soy sauce in bowl.
  • Pour honey mix into pan with garlic. Add thyme and cook 2 minutes. Put pork chops back in pan.
  • Spoon sauce over each chop many times. Cook 4 more minutes each side. Check temperature is 145°F.
  • Let chops rest 5 minutes before eating.

Notes

  • Use thick pork chops for best results and juicy meat.
  • Don't move chops too soon when cooking first side.
  • Use meat thermometer to cook chops perfectly every time.
  • Fresh garlic tastes much better than jar garlic.
  • Let meat sit before cooking for even heat.
