Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb ground beef 80/20
  • 4 burger buns
  • 4 slices sharp cheddar cheese
  • 8 strips bacon
  • 2 large onions sliced
  • 2 tbsp Irish butter
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh thyme leaves

Instructions
 

  • Season ground beef with salt and pepper.
  • Add garlic powder and thyme leaves.
  • Mix ingredients gently with clean hands.
  • Form four equal patties carefully.
  • Make small indents in centers.
  • Cook bacon until crispy golden brown.
  • Remove bacon and drain fat.
