Ingredients
  

  • 3-4 pound  Brisket
  • 2 cloves  Garlic (minced)
  • onion (chopped)
  • 2 cups  Beef broth
  • 1 cup  Red wine
  • 2 tablespoons  Tomato paste
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce  
  • 2 teaspoons  Salt
  • 1 teaspoon  Black pepper

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F for baking.
  • In a large oven-safe pan or Dutch oven, sear the brisket on both sides.
  • Take the brisket out and keep it aside.
  • Cook garlic and onion until soft and translucent.
  • Combine beef broth, red wine, tomato paste, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper.
  • Put the brisket back in the pan and cover with foil.
  • Bake at 350°F for 8-10 hours until tender.
  • Check the internal temperature, it should reach 145°F.
  • Let the brisket rest for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
