- 2 cups Self-raising flour
- 1 pinch Salt
- 1/4 cup Butter
- 1 cup Cheddar cheese
- 1/2 tsp Mustard powder
- 1 Egg
- 2/3 cup Milk
Preheat the oven to 200°C/190°F.
Line a tray with greaseproof paper.
Combine flour, salt, and butter until breadcrumbs form.
Grate cheese, add mustard powder, and mix by hand.
Add egg and milk gradually to form a soft dough.
Bring the dough together until soft but not sticky.
Roll dough to 2cm thickness, cut, and place on tray.
Brush tops with milk, sprinkle cheese and bake for 10-15 minutes.
