Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups Self-raising flour
  • 1 pinch Salt
  • 1/4 cup Butter
  • 1 cup Cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 tsp Mustard powder
  • Egg
  • 2/3 cup Milk

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 200°C/190°F.
  • Line a tray with greaseproof paper.
  • Combine flour, salt, and butter until breadcrumbs form.
  • Grate cheese, add mustard powder, and mix by hand.
  • Add egg and milk gradually to form a soft dough.
  • Bring the dough together until soft but not sticky.
  • Roll dough to 2cm thickness, cut, and place on tray.
  • Brush tops with milk, sprinkle cheese and bake for 10-15 minutes.
  • Serve warm with butter or extra cheese.
