Ingredients
  

  • 300 grams Unsalted butter  
  • 500 grams  All-purpose flour
  • 150 grams  Icing sugar
  • 2 Egg yolks
  • 1 tablespoon Vanilla extract
  • 2 tablespoon Milk

Instructions
 

  • Combine flour and icing sugar. Cut butter, and mix until breadcrumb-like.
  • Add egg yolks, milk, and vanilla. Knead for 5-10 mins, chill for 30 mins.
  • Roll out chilled dough, and fit the tart pan. Press down evenly.
  • Poke with a fork, cover with paper, and add beans to weigh.
  • Preheat the oven to 180°C, and bake for 10 mins.
  • Remove beans, and bake for 5 more mins.
  • Cool pastry, and remove from pan. Enjoy your tasty crust!

Notes

  • Chill in the fridge before rolling.
  • For custard pies, bake before filling.
