Equipment

  • 9-inch springform pan
  • Electric mixer
  • Medium mixing bowl
  • Measuring cups
  • Sharp knife
  • Spatula
  • Small saucepan

Ingredients

  • 24 oz CREAM CHEESE softened
  • 1 cup SUGAR
  • 3 large EGGS
  • 1.5 cups GRAHAM CRACKER CRUMBS
  • 1/2 cup BUTTER melted
  • 2 large APPLES peeled and sliced
  • 1/2 cup CARAMEL SAUCE
  • 1 tsp CINNAMON

Instructions

Preheat the Oven

  • Set your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit first. Let it get very hot while you work. A steady heat helps the cake set.

Prep the Crust

  • Mix the graham crumbs with the melted butter. Press them firmly into the bottom of the pan. Bake for five minutes to set the base.

Make Cheese Layer

  • Beat the soft cream cheese in your bowl. Add the eggs, sugar, and the vanilla extract. Mix until the batter is very white and smooth.

Bake the Base

  • Pour the cheese mix over the warm crust. Bake the cake for about forty-five minutes. The center should be set but still jiggly.

Prep the Apples

  • Peel and slice your apples into thin pieces. Sauté them in a pan with sugar and cinnamon. Cook until they are soft and very fragrant.

Cool the Cake

  • Remove the cheesecake and let it cool down. Place it in the fridge for four hours. This helps the cake become very firm.

Add the Topping

  • Spoon the cooled apples over the cold cheesecake. Spread them out to cover the entire top surface. This adds the fresh fruit layer.

Drizzle the Caramel

  • Warm up your caramel sauce in the microwave. Drizzle it generously over the top of the apples. Serve it immediately for the best look.

Notes

➔ Soften the cream cheese for a smooth base.
➔ Use tart apples to balance the sweet caramel.
➔ Chill the cake fully before adding the fruit.
➔ Run a knife around the edge before opening.
➔ Do not over-bake or the top might crack.
➔ Use high-quality caramel for a richer taste.
➔ Press the crust hard so it does not crumble.
