- 2 Lbs Ground Beef
- 1 Large Yellow Onion
- 1 Medium Green Bell Pepper
- 3 Cloves Garlic
- 2 Cans Diced Tomatoes
- 2 Cans Kidney Beans
- 1 Cup Beef Broth
- 3 Tbsp Chili Powder
- 1 Tsp Ground Cumin
- 1 Tsp Salt
- 1/2 Tsp Black Pepper
Place the ground beef in your large pot. Turn the heat to medium-high on your stove. Cook the meat until it is fully brown.
Drain the excess fat from the pot carefully. Add the chopped onions and bell peppers now. Sauté them until they are soft and clear.
Stir in the minced garlic for one minute. Do not let the garlic burn or turn bitter. It should smell very fragrant and nice.
Pour in the canned tomatoes and beef broth. Add the ingredients for Paula Deen Beef Chili spices. Stir everything together until it is well mixed.
Add the kidney beans to the pot last. Bring the mixture to a slow boil. Then turn the heat down to low.
Cover the pot with a tight lid. Let it simmer for about forty-five minutes. This lets the flavors blend together perfectly.
