- 8 oz CREAM CHEESE
- 1 cup CHEDDAR CHEESE
- 1/2 cup cooked BACON
- 2 tbsp GREEN ONIONS
- 1/2 tsp GARLIC POWDER
- 1/2 cup BREADCRUMBS
- 2 tbsp melted BUTTER
Prepare the Peppers: Wash all the jalapenos first. Slice them in half lengthwise. Use a spoon to remove seeds. Keep the stems for a nice look.
Make the Cheese Filling: Place cream cheese in a bowl. Add cheddar, onions, and garlic powder. Mix until the texture is creamy.
Stuff the Peppers: Use your small spoon now. Fill each pepper half with cheese. Do not overfill the green shells.
Add the Topping: Mix breadcrumbs with melted butter. Sprinkle this over the cheese filling. Press it down just a little bit.
Bake Until Golden: Place peppers on the baking sheet. Bake at 375 degrees. Wait for the cheese to bubble. The tops should look very brown.
