Cutting board
- 1 Lb Pork Tenderloin
- 2 Tbsp Butter
- 3 Cloves Garlic
- 1 Sprig Fresh Rosemary
- 1 Tbsp Olive Oil
- 1 Tsp Salt
- 0.5 Tsp Black Pepper
Preheat your oven to 400 degrees. Let it get hot first. Pat the pork dry with paper towels.
Rub salt and pepper on the meat. Cover all sides well. This builds a good base flavor.
Heat olive oil in your skillet. Use medium-high heat. Wait for the oil to shimmer.
Place the pork in the hot skillet. Brown every side of the meat. This takes about five minutes.
Add butter and garlic to the pan. Let the butter melt completely. Spoon the butter over the pork.
Move the meat to a baking dish. Pour the pan juices over it. Place it in the oven.
Bake for fifteen to twenty minutes. Use your meat thermometer now. Reach 145 degrees for safety.
Remove the pork from the oven. Let it rest for ten minutes. This keeps the juices inside.
- Always let the meat rest after cooking.
- Do not overcook the lean pork tenderloin.
