Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups All Purpose Flour
  • 1 cup mashed Sweet Potatoes
  • 1/2 cup cold Butter
  • 1 tbsp Baking Powder
  • 2 tbsp Sugar
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 1/3 cup Milk
  • 1/4 tsp Cinnamon

Instructions
 

1. Prep Your Oven

  • Heat your oven to 400 degrees. Line your pan with paper.

2. Mash the Potatoes

  • Boil your sweet potatoes until they are soft. Mash them until they are very smooth.

3. Mix Dry Ingredients

  • Whisk your flour, sugar, and baking powder. Add salt and cinnamon too.

4. Cut in Butter

  • Add cold butter chunks to the flour. Use a tool to make small crumbs.

5. Add the Potatoes

  • Stir the mashed potatoes into the flour. Add milk slowly now.

6. Knead the Dough

  • Put dough on a floured surface. Fold it gently a few times.

7. Cut the Shapes

  • Roll the dough one inch thick. Cut out your biscuit circles.

8. Bake the Biscuits

  • Place them on your baking sheet. Bake for fifteen minutes until gold.
