Biscuit Cutter
- 2 Cups Bisquick Mix
- 1/2 Cup Sour Cream
- 1/2 Cup 7 Up Soda
- 1/4 Cup Melted Butter
Preheat your oven to 450 degrees now. Melt your butter in the microwave safely. Pour the butter into the baking pan. Spread it around to cover the bottom.
Put the Bisquick into a large bowl. Add the sour cream to the mix. Use a fork to cut it in. The mixture will look like small crumbs.
Pour the 7 Up into the bowl. Stir the mixture very gently now. Do not overmix the dough today. It should be soft and very sticky.
Dust your counter with extra baking mix. Place the dough on the floured surface. Pat it down with your hands. Keep it about one inch thick.
Use your biscuit cutter to make rounds. Place them in the buttered pan. Put them close so they touch. This helps them rise up straight.
Bake the biscuits for fifteen minutes. Wait until the tops are golden brown. Remove the pan from the hot oven. Serve them while they are still warm.
- Use very cold sour cream for better dough.
- Do not stir the soda too much ever.
- Use a fresh can of 7 Up soda.
- Make sure your oven is truly hot first.
- Do not twist the biscuit cutter while pressing.
