Instructions
Preheat Your Oven
Set your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Let it get nice and hot first.
Prepare the Spinach
Thaw your frozen spinach completely. Squeeze out all the water very well. Use a kitchen towel for this part.
Chop the Artichokes
Drain the liquid from the artichoke cans. Chop them into small, bite-sized pieces.
Mix the Creamy Base
Put cream cheese in a large bowl. Add sour cream and mayonnaise. Mix until the base is very smooth.
Add the Seasonings
Stir in the minced garlic and salt. Add the pepper and red pepper flakes now.
Fold in Vegetables
Add the dry spinach to the bowl. Stir in the chopped artichoke hearts. Mix them evenly into the cream.
Add the Cheese
Pour in half of the mozzarella cheese. Add all of the Parmesan cheese. Stir everything together one last time.
Fill the Baking Dish
Spread the mixture into your baking dish. Make the top smooth with your spatula.
Top with More Cheese
Sprinkle the remaining mozzarella on top. This creates a beautiful golden crust.
Bake the Dip
Place the dish in the oven. Bake for about 20 to 25 minutes.
Broil for Color
Turn on the broiler for one minute. Watch it closely so it does not burn.
Serve and Enjoy
Remove the dish from the oven. Serve it hot with chips or bread.
Notes
Dry the spinach very well before mixing.
Excess water makes the dip too runny.
Use full-fat cream cheese for the best taste.
It makes the texture much richer and creamier.
Fresh garlic tastes better than garlic powder here.
It gives the dip a sharp, delicious kick.
You can also add some crumbled bacon.
Bacon adds a smoky flavor everyone loves.
Try using a mix of different cheeses.
Sharp cheddar or Gruyere works great too.
Let the dip sit for five minutes.
This helps the flavors settle before eating.
