Ingredients
  

  • 2 lbs Chicken wings (split into flats and drumettes)
  • 1/4 cup  Apple cider vinegar
  • 1/4 cup Ketchup
  • 1 cup  Soy sauce
  • 1/2 cup Brown sugar
  • 2 cloves Garlic (minced)
  • 1/2 tsp Red pepper flakes
  • 1 tsp Onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp Black pepper
  • 1 tsp Ginger (minced)
  • Fresh cilantro or green onions (chopped, make a tasty optional garnish)
  • Cooking oil for frying

Instructions
 

  • Combine soy sauce, sugar, vinegar, ketchup, garlic, ginger, and spices.
  • Coat chicken wings, and refrigerate for 2 hours or overnight.
  • Bring wings to room temperature.
  • Heat oil, and fry wings until golden and cooked.
  • Drain excess oil.
  • Garnish with cilantro or green onions if desired.
  • Serve hot with dips.
