- 1 cup All-purpose flour
- 2 cups Cornstarch
- 1 cup Butter unsalted (softened)
- 1 cup Sugar powdered
- 1/4 cup Coconut grated (for topping)
- 1 tsp Vanilla extract
- 1/2 tsp Baking powder
- 1 Pinch Salt
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet.
Sift cornstarch, flour, and baking powder. Add a pinch of salt.
Cream softened butter and powdered sugar until fluffy.
Add vanilla extract and mix well.
Gradually combine dry and wet ingredients until soft dough forms.
Roll dough into small balls on the baking sheet.
Gently press with a fork to create a pattern.
Optional: Sprinkle grated coconut for extra flavour.
Bake for 10-12 minutes until the edges are golden.
Cool on the sheet, then transfer to a wire rack. Enjoy!
