- 1 Can Crescent Roll Dough
- 1 Lb Ground Sausage
- 8 Oz Cream Cheese
- 1/2 Tsp Garlic Powder
- 1 Large Egg
- 1 Tsp Dried Parsley
Cook the Sausage Brown the sausage in your large skillet. Break it into small crumbles as it cooks. Drain all the extra grease from the pan.
Mix the Filling Put the warm sausage into a mixing bowl. Add the softened cream cheese and garlic powder. Stir until the mixture is very smooth.
Prep the Dough Unroll the crescent dough on a flat surface. Separate it into the pre-cut triangle shapes. Place them on your lined baking sheet.
Add the Mixture Place a spoonful of filling on each triangle. Put it on the wide end of the dough. Do not overfill the small triangles.
Roll the Crescents Start at the wide end of the dough. Roll it up toward the thin point. Tuck the edges so the filling stays inside.
Bake Until Golden Brush the tops with a little egg wash. Bake at 375 degrees for twelve minutes. Serve them while they are still warm.
➔ Soften your cream cheese for a smoother filling mix.
➔ Drain all the sausage grease to avoid soggy rolls.
➔ Do not overfill the dough or it might leak.
➔ Use a silicone mat for an extra crispy bottom.
➔ Add red pepper flakes if you want more heat.
➔ Chill the dough until you are ready to roll.
➔ Space the rolls apart so they grow while baking.
