Ingredients
  

For The Cake:

  • 2 cup Sugar
  • 2 cup Flour
  • 1/2 cup Margarine
  • 1/2 cup Crisco shortening
  • 5 tablespoon cocoa, unsweetened
  • 1 cup Water
  • Eggs
  • 1/2 cup Buttermilk
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • Pinch Salt

For The Icing:

  • 1/2 cup Margarine
  • 5 tablespoon cocoa (unsweetened)
  • 1/2 cup Milk
  • 1 lb 10x sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla
  • 1 cup pecans (chopped)
  • 1 cup Coconut

Instructions
 

  • Combine flour and sugar in a big bowl.
  • Boil margarine, shortening, water, and cocoa in a pan.
  • Pour the mixture over flour and sugar.
  • Add other ingredients, and mix thoroughly.
  • Grease a 13x9 pan, and pour the batter.
  • Bake at 350°F for 40-50 minutes until done.
  • Begin icing 5 minutes before the cake finishes.
  • Boil margarine, cocoa, and milk in a pan.
  • Remove from heat, beat in other ingredients.
  • Pour icing over the hot cake.
