For The Cake:
- 2 cup Sugar
- 2 cup Flour
- 1/2 cup Margarine
- 1/2 cup Crisco shortening
- 5 tablespoon cocoa, unsweetened
- 1 cup Water
- 2 Eggs
- 1/2 cup Buttermilk
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- Pinch Salt
For The Icing:
- 1/2 cup Margarine
- 5 tablespoon cocoa (unsweetened)
- 1/2 cup Milk
- 1 lb 10x sugar
- 1 teaspoon Vanilla
- 1 cup pecans (chopped)
- 1 cup Coconut
Combine flour and sugar in a big bowl.
Boil margarine, shortening, water, and cocoa in a pan.
Pour the mixture over flour and sugar.
Add other ingredients, and mix thoroughly.
Grease a 13x9 pan, and pour the batter.
Bake at 350°F for 40-50 minutes until done.
Begin icing 5 minutes before the cake finishes.
Boil margarine, cocoa, and milk in a pan.
Remove from heat, beat in other ingredients.
Pour icing over the hot cake.
