Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb chicken thighs cut small
  • 3 tablespoons sha cha sauce
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon cooking oil
  • 1 onion sliced
  • 2 garlic pieces chopped
  • 1 red bell pepper sliced
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1/4 cup chicken broth
  • 2 green onions chopped
  • 1 teaspoon cornstarch

Instructions
 

  • Cut chicken into small pieces. Mix cornstarch with chicken. Heat oil in large pan.
  • Add chicken to hot pan. Cook chicken 5 minutes until golden. Take chicken out of pan.
  • Add onion and garlic to pan. Cook vegetables 2 minutes. Add bell pepper and cook 1 minute.
  • Mix sha cha sauce with soy sauce. Add sugar and chicken broth. Pour sauce into pan.
  • Put chicken back in pan. Mix everything together for 3 minutes. Add green onions last.
  • Cook until sauce gets thick. Serve hot with rice.

Notes

  • Use chicken thighs because they taste better than chicken breast.
  • Don't cook vegetables too long or they get mushy.
  • Buy sha cha sauce at Asian stores or online.
  • Add harder vegetables first, soft ones last.
  • Taste the food before serving and add more sauce if needed.
