Ingredients
  

  • 1 ¾ cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • ½ tsp baking soda
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • ½ cup soft butter
  • ¾ cup sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • ½ cup sour cream or yogurt
  • 1 cup chopped strawberries
  • 4 oz cream cheese soft
  • 2 tbsp powdered sugar optional

Instructions
 

  • Heat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Put muffin liners in the muffin tin.
  • Mix flour, baking powder, soda, and salt.
  • In another bowl, beat butter and sugar.
  • Add eggs one at a time. Mix well.
  • Add vanilla and sour cream. Mix again.
  • Add dry mix slowly into wet mix.
  • Gently fold in chopped strawberries.
  • Fill muffin cups halfway with batter.
  • Place one cream cheese cube in each cup.
  • Add more batter to cover the cheese.
  • Bake for 20–25 minutes until golden brown.
  • Use a toothpick to check if it’s done.
  • Let muffins cool for 10 minutes.
  • Sprinkle powdered sugar if you like.

Notes

  • Use fresh strawberries, not frozen ones.
  • Don’t mix the batter too much.
  • Cream cheese should be soft, not cold.
  • Use a scoop for even muffin sizes.
  • Let them cool before putting in a box.
