Making The Gefilte Fish:

  • For store-bought gefilte fish, follow jar cooking instructions.
  • For homemade, blend white fish, onions, carrots, eggs, and matzo meal.
  • Form mixture into fish patties and poach in simmering broth until cooked.

Assembling the Turbriskafil:

  • Gently place the brisket into the turkey cavity, adjusting the shape if needed.
