Ingredients
- 1 package elbow macaroni (16 ounces)
- 2 packages of mild cheddar cheese (shredded) (8 ounces)
- 1 package sharp cheddar cheese (shredded) (8 ounces)
- 3/4 cup sour cream
- 3/4 cup cottage cheese
- 1 large-sized egg
- Salt (to taste)
- Freshly ground black pepper (to taste)
Instructions
- Boil salted water, cook macaroni for 8 minutes, then drain.
- Mix cheddar, cream, egg, cottage cheese, salt, and pepper.
- Combine cheese mix with macaroni in a baking dish.
- Top with reserved cheese, bake at 350°F until melted.
- Cool, then serve the baked macaroni.
