Measure all ingredients before you start cooking now.
Open your pumpkin puree can and set aside.
This makes cooking much faster and easier overall.
Pour milk into your pot on medium heat.
Let it warm up but don't boil yet.
This takes about 2 minutes to heat properly.
Stir in the oats when milk gets warm.
Mix them well so they don't stick together.
Let them cook for 3 minutes while stirring.
Add the pumpkin puree to your cooking oats.
Stir everything together until it's completely mixed well.
The color will turn beautiful orange now gradually.
Sprinkle in cinnamon and pumpkin pie spice blend.
Add the salt and vanilla extract as well.
Mix everything very well for even flavor distribution.
Pour in maple syrup and stir it through.
Cook for 2 more minutes until nice thickness.
Remove from heat when it looks creamy enough.
