Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups  All-purpose flour
  • 4 Chicken breasts (boneless and skinless)
  • 1 cup  Buttermilk
  • 1 tbsp Paprika
  • 1 tbsp Garlic powder
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste

Instructions
 

  • In a sizable bowl, generously season chicken with salt and pepper. Submerge in buttermilk for flavour and tenderness. 
  • Cover and refrigerate for 30 minutes or overnight for optimal taste.
  • Combine flour, paprika, and garlic powder in a shallow dish. Infuse chicken with savoury, slightly spicy flavours.
  • Remove chicken from buttermilk, allowing excess to drip. Coat each breast in seasoned flour, pressing for an even coating. Place on a wire rack to remove excess.
  • Heat 1 inch of vegetable oil in a deep skillet to 350°F (175°C). Carefully fry chicken until golden and cooked through, about 6-8 minutes per side. 
  • Internal temperature should reach 165°F (74°C). Drain on a paper towel-lined plate.

Notes

  • Experiment with herbs like rosemary and thyme for extra flavour.
  • For enhanced flavour, marinate chicken in buttermilk overnight if time allows.
