Ingredients
  

  • 1 pound  Penne pasta
  • Chicken breasts (boneless, skinless and cut into small pieces)
  • 1 tablespoon  Olive oil
  • 1/4 teaspoon  Cayenne pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon  Garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper (to taste)
  • Red bell pepper (sliced)
  • Green bell pepper (sliced)
  • 1/2  Red onion (sliced)
  • 1/2 cup  Mushrooms (sliced )
  • 1/4 cup  Jalapenos (diced)
  • 1/2 cup  heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup  Parmesan cheese (grated )
  • 1/4 cup  fresh parsley (chopped )

Instructions
 

  • Cook pasta as per package directions. Drain and set aside.
  • Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  • Add chicken, season with cayenne, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Cook until browned, 5-7 mins.
  • Add bell peppers, onion, mushrooms, and jalapenos. Cook until the veggies are tender, 5-7 mins.
  • Pour heavy cream into the skillet, and stir to combine. Add cooked pasta, and toss to coat.
  • Sprinkle Parmesan cheese over pasta, stir to combine. Cook for 2-3 more mins until the cheese melts.
  • Garnish with chopped parsley and serve immediately. Enjoy!
