- 4 boneless chicken breasts
- 1 cup Almond slices
- 1 cup Chicken broth
- 1/4 cup Soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons Cornstarch
- 2 tablespoons Water
- 2 tablespoons Vegetable oil
- 2 Green onions (chopped)
- Lettuce leaves (for serving)
Combine broth, soy sauce, and almonds in a saucepan, boil, and simmer for 10 mins.
Mix cornstarch, and water for slurry. Gradually add to the almond mixture, and thicken.
Season chicken, heat oil, and fry until golden and crispy.
Rest fried chicken on a paper towel to remove excess oil.
Place lettuce on a plate, add fried chicken, and top with gravy.
Spoon warm gravy over chicken, and garnish with green onions.
