Chicken Mortadella Recipe

In this blog, I will share with you a Chicken Mortadella Recipe that is extremely delicious.

Ingredients
  

  • 4 oz Chicken breast, (cut into medium pieces)
  • Eggs
  • Cheese wedges
  • 1/3 cup Vegetable oil
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon Cumin
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon Paprika
  • 1 tablespoon Tomato paste
  • 1 cup Spanish green olives

Instructions
 

  • Heat oil in a saucepan over medium heat.
  • Cook tomato paste for 1 minute, then set it aside.
  • In a bowl, combine chicken, cheese, eggs, spices, and tomato paste.
  • Mix and transfer to a food processor for mincing.
  • Place minced chicken mixture in a bowl.
  • Add green olives and mix thoroughly.
  • Lay two sheets of plastic wrap, one over the other.
  • Shape the chicken mixture into a log using the wrap.
  • Secure ends with knots and wrap them in aluminium foil.
  • Steam the log for 45 minutes.
  • Allow it to cool for 15 minutes.
  • Refrigerate for at least 3 hours.
  • Slice and serve.

Notes

  • For sandwiches: Slice Chicken Mortadella thin for a balanced taste.
  • In pasta salads: Cut it and mix with veggies and pasta.
  • On charcuterie boards: Serve with olives, cheese, and crusty bread.
