Ingredients

  • 8 oz Whole milk (1 cup)
  • 2 oz Buttermilk (¼ cup)
  • 3 cups All purpose flour
  • 4 Eggs
  • 4 oz Water (½ cup)
  • 1 tbsp Baking powder
  • 2 oz Vegetable oil (¼ cup)
  • 1 ⅛ tsp Salt
  • 2 ½ tbsp Sugar
  • 10 drops Yellow food color

Instructions

  • Heat your waffle iron.
  • Take a large bowl and add salt, all-purpose flour, and baking powder to it. Mix them well.
  • Take another bowl and add sugar and eggs to it. Mix them with the help of an electric mixer at high speed for 60 seconds.
  • In this egg mixture, add buttermilk, water, oil, and whole milk. Mix everything very well together.
  • Pour this mixture into the all-purpose flour mixture. Subsequently, add 10 drops of yellow food color. Mix them with an electric mixer for half a minute at medium speed.
  • When the batter is ready, spray a non-stick cooking spray on the heated waffle iron.
  • Pour 4 oz (half cup) of the batter into the heated waffle iron. Close the waffle iron. Cook for 60 seconds. Open the waffle iron and remove the cooked waffle cautiously.
  • Put the waffle aside and let it cool. Make more waffles with the batter in the same way.
  • When the waffles are cooled down, top them with your favorite toppings. You can also freeze them inside freezer bags and then serve them if you like chilled waffles. Bon appetit!
