  • 4 Egg Whites

  • To preheat the oven, set the temperature to 120°C/100°Cfan, Gas 12.
  • Until stiff peaks form, whisk egg whites.
  • Add caster sugar gradually, whisking until stiff and shiny.
  • Pipe or spoon meringue onto baking paper.
  • Use a cookie cutter as a guide for circles.
  • Until firm, bake for 1 hour and 10 minutes.
  • Allow to cool before serving.
