Equipment

  • Large mixing bowl
  • Small mixing bowl
  • Whisk
  • Measuring cups
  • Measuring spoons
  • Chef Knife
  • Cutting board
  • Plastic wrap

Ingredients

  • 1 package 12 oz Broccoli Slaw Mix
  • 2 packages Ramen Noodles discard flavor packets
  • 1 cup Toasted Almond slivers
  • 1 cup Sunflower Seeds
  • 1/2 cup Chopped Green Onions
  • 1/2 cup Real Bacon bits
  • 1 cup Mayonnaise
  • 1/3 cup White Sugar
  • 1/4 cup Apple Cider Vinegar
  • 1/2 cup Canola Oil

Instructions

  • Take the dry noodles out of the package. Break them into very small pieces with your hands.
  • Do not use the flavor packet for this step. Set the crunchy bits aside for later use.
  • Grab your small mixing bowl for the sauce. Add the mayo, sugar, and cider vinegar inside.
  • Pour in the oil and whisk it very well. Make sure the sugar dissolves into the liquid.
  • Open the bag of fresh broccoli slaw mix. Pour it into your largest mixing bowl.
  • Add the green onions and the sunflower seeds now. Toss them together so they are mixed well.
  • Throw in the broken ramen noodles and almonds. These stay crunchy if you add them late.
  • Mix them into the broccoli slaw very gently. This adds layers of texture to the bowl.
  • Pour the creamy dressing over the vegetable mix. Use a large spoon to coat everything evenly.
  • Ensure every piece of broccoli has some dressing. This makes the salad taste very good.
  • Cover the bowl with a piece of plastic wrap. Put it in the fridge for one hour.
  • This lets the flavors blend together perfectly. Stir it once more right before you eat.

Notes
