- 2 cups powdered milk
- 1 cup flour
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup melted butter
- 1 cup ube halaya purple yam jam
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla essence optional
In a frying pan, roast the flour over low heat until it turns golden brown and starts to smell fragrant.
After the flour has cooled, add powdered milk and sugar to it.
Mix the melted butter and obe halaya well into this mixture. You can also add vanilla essence if you want.
Pour this mixture into the polvoron mold, press it and make different shapes.
Refrigerate the prepared shapes for 1-2 hours to set.
- Keep the heat low while frying the flour so that it does not burn.
- Always use fresh and high quality Ube Halaya so that the taste is the best.
- If molds are not available, shapes can also be easily given by hand.
