  • 1 packet gelatin
  • 1/4 cup cold water

  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla

How to Make It

  1. Blend strawberries with half the sugar until smooth.
  2. Strain out all seeds through fine strainer.
  3. Mix gelatin with cold water for 5 minutes.
  4. Heat 2 tablespoons strawberry mix in small pot.
  5. Add gelatin to warm strawberry mix and stir.
  6. Mix this back into remaining strawberry puree.
  7. Add lemon juice and rest of sugar.
  8. Whip cream with powdered sugar until fluffy.
  9. Add vanilla to whipped cream.
  10. Gently mix cream into strawberry mixture.
  11. Put mousse into 6 glasses.
  12. Chill for 3 hours until set.
