Steps Involved In Making Maggiano’s Mom’s Lasagna

  1. Heat a large sauté pan over medium heat.
  2. Add Italian sausage, ground beef, and Italian seasoning. Cook until browned.
  3. Remove from heat, drain, and set aside.
  4. If using dried pasta sheets, cook as per package instructions. Drain and set aside.

  17. Place lasagna in the oven and bake for about 2 1/2 hours, or until an instant-read thermometer reads 155°F.
  18. Remove from the oven and sprinkle grated Provolone on top to melt.
  19. Allow the lasagna to rest for 15 minutes.
  20. Cut into portions and serve with extra marinara and grated Parmesan.
